According to CommerceV3: "The password will expire every 90 days for PCI compliance as all CV3 passwords do, so you might want to set up a reminder for yourself to reset it every 90 days (first change the password on the CV3 side and then update your ShipWorks store setup to use the new password). If ShipWorks suddenly stops working, the password is the first thing you should check."
This article will guide you through how to update the password for your CommerceV3 store connection in the ShipWorks software.
First Things First
In order to update the password in ShipWorks you must be logged into the ShipWorks software as a user with administrator rights.
1. Click on the Manage tab and then on the Stores button.
2. Select your CommerceV3 store from the list of available stores. Then, click the Edit button.
4. Select Store Connection from the list of available option on the left side of the Store Settings screen.
5. Update the Password:. Click OK and then click Close.
