ShipWorks Insurance is provided by Online Shipping Insurance services (InsureShip). Claims can be submitted directly from within the ShipWorks software. This article will guide you through how to file a claim from within the ShipWorks software
First Things First
To make a claim, the shipment must have had ShipWorks Insurance selected when it was originally shipped.
If your shipment is in transport, you may need to wait to file your claim. After two weeks you will be able to fill out the electronic form as outlined is the following steps.
2. Right-click the order and select Submit Claim. (Alternatively, you can navigate to Home Submit Claim.)
3. Complete the Submit a Claim form by filling out the following fields:
- Claim Type
- Damage Value
The damage value on your claim may differ from the shipment value (the entire value of the shipment). For example, if you have an insured shipment containing 4 tea cups, and only 2 of them are damaged (in transport), you would fill out a damage claim for the total of the 2 tea cups (not all 4).
- Item Name
- Company Email
Then, click the Submit Claim button to send the claim electronically to InsureShip.

5. Click Close to exit.
