It is easy to void a shipment, reprint a shipping label and/or to process an additional shipment for an order. This article will guide you through the process using ShipWorks' Shipping Panel.
First Things First
This article assumes that you have at least one processed shipment in ShipWorks. For this article we will use USPS for our example, but the steps are the same for any shipping provider.
Searching for the Order
Locating an order in ShipWorks is easy. Simply type one of the following into the Search all Orders field located at the top right of the Orders Grid.
- Order number
- Customer's First Name
- Customer's Last Name
Once you locate the order, click on it to select it.

Once you have located and selected the order, click on the Shipping tab if it is not already selected for you automatically.
Reprinting a Label
Sometimes things happen. Maybe your printer didn't print the label or the label got jammed up or maybe a label was misplaced. In any case, you may need to reprint a shipping label. Here's how:
With the order selected, click the Reprint button located on the Shipping tab.
The label will be reprinted to the printer you have configured for your labels in ShipWorks.
Voiding a Shipment
In the event that you no longer need a shipping label for any reason, you can quickly void the shipping label.

Here's how to void a label:
1. With the order selected, click on the Void button located on the Shipping tab.
2. Click the OK button to confirm that you wish to void the shipment.
The shipment will be voided and the status will be updated in the Shipping panel.
Reprocessing a Voided Shipment
In the event that you need to generate another shipping label for a shipment that you voided, you can do so easily. Here's how:
1. With the order selected, click on the Ship Again button located on the Shipping tab.
After clicking the Ship Again button, a new shipment is created and loaded onto the Ship Orders screen automatically for you.
2. Update the shipment details as needed (Provider, Service, Weight, Dimensions, etc.).
3. Once you have updated any shipping settings that need to be updated, click on the Create Label button to generate the shipping label.
The label will be printed to the label printer you have configured in ShipWorks.
