Here is a brief summary of what's changing for ShipWorks subscribers who have connected their FedEx account with ShipWorks:
This includes U.S. domestic, U.S. export and U.S. import services. Minimum rates for FedEx Express services will see an increase along with FedEx Retail Rates.
ShipWorks supported services that will see this increase include:
International Economy Freight
International Priority Freight
Effective January 18, 2021, certain international shipments to and from the U.S. will be assessed an International Out-of-Delivery-Area Surcharge or an International Out-of-Pickup-Area Surcharge for International Express Freight services based on the ZIP code location of the pick-up or delivery.
Effective Feb. 1, 2021, there will be changes to how fuel is assessed for U.S. FedEx Express Freight shipments.
Effective June 2021, FedEx will begin charging a six percent (6%) late payment fee to U.S. FedEx Express and FedEx Ground customers who don’t pay their invoice within their agreed upon payment terms.
