Set UPS from ShipWorks as Your Default Account

Background

Using your UPS from ShipWorks account with One Balance, enjoy discounts of up to 78% off UPS Ground shipments, up to 73% for UPS 2nd Day Air service, and up to 82% off International services on eligible packages as well as reduced pickup rates and guaranteed delivery services. When you have multiple UPS accounts configured in ShipWorks you may wish to set your UPS from ShipWorks account as your default UPS account in order to take advantage of these savings.

This article will guide you through setting UPS from ShipWorks as your default UPS account.

First Things First

We recommend that you run the latest version of the ShipWorks software. This allows you to access the latest tools and features and ensures the steps in this article will work for you. For assistance with checking your version of ShipWorks or with upgrading to the latest version, please see the How Do I Upgrade ShipWorks help article.

This article also assumes that you have setup ShipWorks One Balance in ShipWorks.

The Process

Setting UPS from ShipWorks as Your Default UPS Account

1. Click on the Manage tab and then on the Shipping Settings button.

2. Select UPS from the list of available carriers.

Select UPS from the list of carriers.

3. Click on the blue text Defaults - UPS located in the Labels section of the Settings tab.

Click the Defaults-UPS link under Labels.

4. Select UPS from ShipWorks from the Account: drop-down menu located on the Settings: tab.

Select the UPS account from the account drop-down menu.

5. Click OK and then click Close.

Now, when you create a shipping label using UPS as your shipping provider, your UPS from ShipWorks account will be selected by default.
