This article will guide you through adding UPS and/or DHL Express to your One Balance account. Before continuing with the steps found below, if you have not already done so, please ensure that you have added One Balance as a shipping carrier in The Hub.
-
Navigate to The Hub and log in.
-
Click on Settings.
-
Click the Add UPS button found under ShipWorks One Balance in the Carriers section.
-
Select the Requested Label Format option for the type of label printer you use.
What Label Format should I select?
If you are uncertain of what label format you should select here is a little information to help you:
-
Standard - Select this option if you will be printing shipping labels to a laser or inkjet printer.
-
Thermal-EPL - If you have an older thermal printer, such as a Zebra 2844, select this option.
-
Thermal-ZPL - Select this option if you have a newer thermal label printer. Almost all thermal label printers produced in the last several years support this option.
-
-
Enter the Address information you wish to be associated with your One Balance: UPS account. Then, click Next.
ShipWorks will create a UPS: One Balance account for you and add it to the ShipWorks One Balance list of accounts.
-
You cannot void a UPS from ShipWorks label once it has been scanned by UPS. If you attempt to do so, an error will be displayed letting you know that the shipment was not voided.
-
UPS uses dimensional weight (DIM) when calculating rates. Always include the dimensions of the shipment as well as weight for accurate rates.
-
You cannot ship alcohol with this version of UPS. You must use your own UPS account.
-
Navigate to The Hub and log in.
-
Click on Settings.
-
Click the Add DHL Express button found under ShipWorks One Balance in the Carriers section.
A One Balance: DHL Express account will be created for you and added to the ShipWorks One Balance list of accounts in The Hub.
You can easily schedule a pickup by using the DHL website scheduler.
-
Existing DHL Express accounts are not eligible for One Balance.
-
Maximum weight and dimensions: On September 1st, 2018, DHL Express updated the maximum actual weight for individual shipments to 150 pounds (70 kilograms), and the maximum length to 118 inches (300 centimeters). Packages over those maximum values will not be accepted by DHL Express. The total maximum weight for a multi-piece shipment will remain unchanged, at 2,200 pounds (1,000 kilograms).
-
Dimensional weight may apply to some shipments. Be sure to include shipment dimensions when getting a rate or creating a label to avoid unexpected charges.
-
DHL Express from ShipWorks will not be approved if your existing Stamps.com is on the NSA rate plan.
