Search by tracking number?
Is there a way to search for an order via the tracking number? Maybe set the tracking number for a custom field so it is searchable? There are times where we will have a returned package or an e-mail from USPS or a customer where a tracking number is provided but nothing else comes up & we can't find the names on the package (if any to work with)... if there was a way to be able to find an order across all our stores (Miva, Amazon, eBay, Newegg, etc.) it would be really handy...

Hi, Philip -
Thanks for reaching out on our forums!
The solution that Nathan mentioned above is currently the best option, however I'd be happy to submit a feature request. I'll be in touch with a support ticket shortly!
For now, here's how you create a Saved Search for tracking numbers:
Manage > Filters > New Filter > "Tracking Number Search" (or your preference of name) > create the filter same as the screenshot below and save.
Then in the Orders View Panel, right click on the Filter > Convert to Saved Search will allow you to keep the Tracking Number field dynamic for searching.
Thanks and happy shipping!

Good morning @Bryon,
AJ previously mentioned that she would submit a feature request for the functionality and I can confirm that was entered. Unfortunately, right now the only way to search for a tracking number is those listed above.
I definitely see the need for an easier way to search tracking numbers, so if you have any other ideas than being able to enter into the search bar and search please send them our way and we can get those entered as a feature request to our development team!
Thanks!

For those not seeing the screenshot that Nathan posted, the advanced search was the clue I needed to create a Search by Tracking number filter as follows.
1. When viewing all orders, click the double down arrow to the right of the "Search All Orders" box to open the Advanced Search
2. Click Add condition. Click on "Order Total" to change it and select: For any > Shipment... which returns the condition "For any shipment in the order..."
3. Click Add condition on the indented row below. Click Provider to change it and select Tracking Number
4. Go ahead and save this blank search with the save icon to the left of the "Search these results"
5. Enter your tracking number in the box to the right of Tracking Number Equals.
*Note: The search doesn't work if you enter the tracking number in the "Search these results" box at the top where you would normally search. To search by tracking number again, just find the saved search filter and click on it.
