Amazon Order Numbers?

since the new 9.9 update, our order numbers for amazon now "match" the amazon order number rather than being a unique "internal" number (like 8784523), this makes it difficult as we scan the order numbers to pick and QC them, and the new barcodes because of this are too long, and end up being on 2 lines.  I have tried to modify the order #'s via a script, which works, however, when amazon updates us with the store status, it changes back to the 3-7-7 format.

  Is there any answer for this? I also used the internal Shipworks order numbers. I've had to change my work flow ...It seems nobody is monitoring this forum anymore. It's a shame.
