Exporting a Report to Microsoft Excel
For this example, we'll use the Shipping Profit and Loss report. A Shipping Profit and Loss report shows you your monthly shipping costs and helps you gauge how much you are spending or how much you're saving.
You can use the Action Editor to set this report to run automatically, and you can follow the same procedure for any template/report. See our What Reports are Available in ShipWorks? page for a comprehensive list of reports you can run in ShipWorks.
1. Select the orders that you want to save to the report.
2. Go to the Output Tab and click the Save button for a dropdown of your template/reports. Expand the Reports folder and the Financials folder inside to find the Shipping Profit and Loss report.
3. Name your file and save it in an HTML format on the Save As screen. This means that your file should end in .html (like example.html).
4. Open Microsoft Excel and open the Shipping Profit and Loss HTML file you created in Excel.
Your Shipping Profit and Loss report should now appear in Microsoft Excel.
