Shopify: Update to the New Shopify API
Shopify has recently introduced a new API used to connect Shopify to third-party applications such as ShipWorks. ShipWorks users with an active Shopify store need to update their Shopify store connection prior to March 31, 2023, to avoid issues with processing Shopify orders.
If you have not migrated ShipWorks to the new Shopify API by March 31 you may encounter the following error when downloading orders from Shopify.
Unable to connect to Shopify. Please update your Shopify credentials in Manage > Stores.
This article will guide you through the process of migrating your Shopify store to the new API.
In order to update your Shopify store to the new API:

You will need your Shopify store login credentials

You will need to log in to ShipWorks as a user with administrator rights
You must be running ShipWorks 9.12.1 or later to migrate your Shopify store connection to the new Shopify API.

Select your Shopify store and then click the Edit button.

Select the Store Connection link.

Ensure that your Shopify store address is filled in correctly.

Click the Create Shopify Token button.
A new browser window will open to the Shopify login page.

Log in to your Shopify store.
A new page will load with your Shopify token.

Click the Copy token button. Then, switch back to ShipWorks.

Paste (CTRL + V) the Shopify token into the 3: Enter the Shopify Token field.

Click the OK button to save your changes.
It may take a few moments for your Shopify store information to be updated.

Click Close to exit the Manage Stores screen.
Your Shopify store credentials are now updated. You can continue downloading and shipping your Shopify orders.
