USPS: HAZMAT - Ship Dangerous Goods

ShipWorks supports shipping HAZMAT materials (dangerous goods) domestically with the USPS. Currently, shipments containing HAZMAT can only be shipped when USPS Ground Advantage has been selected as a service with ShipWorks.

Here's how to ship HAZMAT with ShipWorks:

  1. Select the order in the Orders grid. Then, go to the Home tab and click the Ship Orders button.

    Select an order. Click the Home tab then the Ship Orders button.

  2. Verify that the shipment details are correct. Then, check the HAZMAT: This shipment contains dangerous goods checkbox.

    The hazmat checkbox is highlighted and checked on the ship orders screen.

  3. Click the Create Label button to process and print the shipping label.

The shipping label will indicate that the package contains HAZMAT materials.
