Bypass the Store Setup
When installing ShipWorks for the first time, you have the option of selecting an online store or marketplace to connect to so that you can automatically download orders into ShipWorks.
But what if you are not ready to connect ShipWorks directly to an online store or marketplace? Maybe you wish to just check out ShipWorks so that you can be sure that it is the right software for your needs.
ShipWorks automatically adds a 'Manual Store' named My Test Store during the install process so that you can manually add orders and process shipping labels. Since ShipWorks requires that orders be associated to a store, having a manual store available allows you to get started adding orders quickly.
Edit the Store Details
When choosing to use the automatically created manual store, you will need to ensure that the store address and contact information are correct. Here's how:
2. Select My Test Store and click on the Edit button.
3. Verify that Store Address is selected. Then, fill out the applicable fields in the Name, Address, and Contact Information sections. Click OK to save your settings.
I've updated the store information. What's next?
