What are Templates?

Templates are the primary way to export data from ShipWorks. Upon installation, ShipWorks comes with pre-formatted documents (known astemplates) that contain text, layout, and graphics. We’ve included pre-formatted documents for different purposes, like invoices, packing slips, reports, shipment notification emails, and more. It’s everything you need to get up and running.

Templates are completely customizable using the built-in template editor in ShipWorks.

Templates make it easy for you to do a number of things in ShipWorks:

§ Customize packing slips and invoices.

§ Run reports (like tax reports or product trend reports).

§ Identify product trends.

§ Notify customers that their shipment has been processed.

If you'd like to request a custom template, please submit a support request by completing the attached Template Request form (see below). Then, send an email to support@shipworks.com being sure to attach your completed Template Request form.
