General: Configure the Default Shipping Provider
With ShipWorks it's possible to set the default shipping provider. The default provider is the shipping provider that will be automatically selected when creating a new shipment for an order.
For example, if you always ship with USPS, it may be helpful to set USPS as the default shipping provider so that you do not have to select USPS for every shipment that you create. ShipWorks will select it for you.
2. Verify that the General option is selected on the left. Then, select your default shipping provider from the Use Provider drop-down menu.
3. Click Close to save your changes.
From now on, any time a new shipment is created for an order the default provider will automatically be selected for you.
