Locating APO/FPO/DPO Orders
ShipWorks can assist you with identifying orders containing an APO/FPO/DPO or a P.O. Box as a ship to address. This article will guide you through creating a filter that lists these orders so that you can quickly identify which orders are being shipped to this type of address.
1. Click on the Manage tab and then on the Filters button.
2. Click on the New Filter button.
3. Give the filter a name. For this example, we are naming our filter APO / PO.
4. Click the Next button.
5. Click on the red text All and select Any.
6. Click on the Add Condition button. A new line appears.
7. Click on Order Total and select Person > Address > City.
8. Click on Shipping or Billing and select Shipping.
9. Enter APO into the text box.
10. Repeat steps 6 through 9, selecting the correct options for each new line so that your filter matches the below image.
When creating the conditions for Street1, Street2, and Street3 copy and paste the following into the text box: P.{0,2}O.{0,2}[ ]?Box
11. Once you complete all of the conditions, click Next. Then click Finish.
1. In ShipWorks, select your APO/DPO/FPO/PO Box filter. With the filter selected, you will see any orders that contain a military APO/FPO/DPO address or contain a P.O. Box.
Tip
For all military addresses:
1. Write out the service member's full name in the address.
2. Include the unit and the APO/FPO/DPO address with a 9-digit ZIP code. Examples can be found on the USPS site for APO/DPO/FPO guidelines.
3. Include a return address.
