Module-Based Store: Add to ShipWorks
What is a Module-Based Store?
Whether you’re a shipper looking to expand your shipping and fulfillment capabilities or your are a third party platform delivering innovative solutions for e-commerce customers, ShipWorks can help. With our Generic Module integration, you can integrate with ShipWorks and begin leveraging the power and sophistication of its core functionality.
If your sales platform is not directly integrated with ShipWorks, you have the option to create and use a generic .php module. We have a Generic Module Development Guide and an .XSD stylesheet that you and/or your developer can use to help you create module that enables ShipWorks to communicate with your sales channel. Once you've created the module, it is placed in your store directory. Then, enter the module URL into ShipWorks in the add store wizard. Follow the steps below to configure your generic module integration with ShipWorks.
3. Enter the following information for your Generic Module Store:
-
Enter the username and password, this is usually a password given to you by the developer of the Generic Module integration
-
Enter the module URL for the integration, this is a URL that the developer of the module should be able to provide you.
4. Click Next and follow the prompts to enter the requested information about your business.
5. Once you click the Finish button, ShipWorks will automatically download the orders for the store as directed during setup.
