Disabling or Enabling a Filter
Imagine how helpful it would be to have filters for limited-time special offers or for seasonal items. When the event or season is over, you may not want the unused filters cluttering up your filters panel and slowing down processing. Well, you don’t have to delete them. You can just disable them. It’s easy, too.
1. Click Manage and then Filters to open the Filter Organizer.
2. Select the filter you want to disable, and click the Edit button.
3. Just uncheck the Enabled box, click OK, and you’re done!
1. Click Manage and then Filters to open the Filter Organizer.
2. Make sure the Show disabled filters option is checked, and you will see any disabled filters grayed and crossed out.
When the time comes to enable a filter that you’d disabled, you can have the filter ready to go again in no time. All you have to do is open the Filter Editor and check the Enabled box.
1. Click Manage and then Filters to open the Filter Organizer.
2. Select the disabled filter you want to enable, and click the Edit button. (If you can’t find it, make sure that the Show disabled filters option is selected so that you can see all of your disabled filters).
3. Check the Enabled checkbox, click OK and it’s done!
