FedEx: Create a Shipping Profile for Ground® Economy (formerly SmartPost)
Create a shipping profile (a set or group of defaults) that can be selected any time you are shipping with FedEx Ground® Economy (formerly SmartPost). Selecting the Ground® Economy shipping profile automatically configures your shipment with all of the settings required to ship using Ground® Economy.
Since this article is specific to FedEx Ground® Economy you will need to have a few things in place prior to continuing:

Your FedEx account added to ShipWorks. Learn how add you FedEx account to ShipWorks.

Your FedEx account has been enabled for Ground® Economy. If you need to enable your FedEx account for Ground® Economy, please reach out to your FedEx representative to assist you.

Your ShipWorks account is on one of the Warehouse pricing plans.

You have added a Hub location to your FedEx account in ShipWorks.
Settings Related to FedEx Ground® Economy
In this example we will only set defaults related specifically to FedEx Ground® Economy. Be sure to configure any additional settings needed for your specific profile, such as package dimensions, weight, etc.

Click the Add button.

Give the Profile a Name. Then, select FedEx from the Provider drop-down menu.

(optional) If you have more than one FedEx account added to your ShipWorks application, check the box to the left of Account and select the FedEx account you wish to use with Ground® Economy from the Account: drop-down menu.

Check the box to the left of Service: in the Shipment section. Then, select FedEx Ground® Economy from the Service: drop-down menu.

Scroll down to the FedEx Ground® Economy section. Apply the appropriate Indicia: and Ancillary: options to your profile.

Review and apply any additional settings appropriate for your Shipping Profile. Use the Packages tab to enter a weight and package dimensions if needed.

Click the Close button to save your Shipping Profile. Then, click the Close button to return to the ShipWorks main screen.
