With ShipWorks you can quickly and easily locate an order, verify orders with Scan-based Quality Control, apply shipping profiles to a shipment, weigh packages and generate shipping labels with a barcode scanner. This list of articles will guide you through how to register a barcode scanner with ShipWorks and how to begin using all of the scan-to-ship features.
With Shipping Rules, you can configure ShipWorks to automate shipments based on your business logic. ShipWorks can be set to filter for specific orders and then automatically apply carrier-specific service options using shipping profiles for those filtered orders. Shipping rules save you time by automating the entry of shipment details when shipping orders.
Filters provide a way to organize orders and customers in ShipWorks in order to streamline your workflow. Filters find and display orders that meet criteria that you decide upon. You can have any number of filters available for use at any given time.
ShipWorks comes with built in templates that give you the ability to print packing slips and invoices, send formatted emails to your customers, run reports, and export data. Templates can be customized to meet your specific business needs and branding.
ShipWorks’ Product Catalog allows you to import and manage your product information and inventory counts within ShipWorks. With your product information stored in ShipWorks it becomes much easier to manage products when selling across multiple sales channels, weights and dimensions can be auto populated when shipping and, when shipping internationally customs information can be populated automatically.
Shipping profiles allow you to create and save sets of your most commonly used shipping defaults. These defaults, or profiles, can then be easily applied to a single shipment or to a group of selected shipments. For example, you could have a profile that automatically applies an expedited shipping service, weight, insurance, dimensions, signature required, turn on email notifications and more, all with just a couple of mouse clicks or a barcode scan.
