FedEx: Add to ShipWorks
ShipWorks is a FedEx Compatible Platinum Solution, offering integrated FedEx shipping solutions built right in. ShipWorks' FedEx integration offers merchants the ability to process FedEx shipments in bulk, supports both domestic and international services, allows merchants to run FedEx end-of-day reports (FedEx Close), supports electronic customs transmission (EDT), and more.
When connecting FedEx to ShipWorks, you will need:

An active account with FedEx

Your FedEx account number

The account address on file with FedEx (can be found in your FedEx account admin details)

The email address and phone number associated with your FedEx account
Shipping Internationally

Commercial Invoices can be automatically generated by FedEx and sent electronically (if supported by the destination country). You may be required to upload a header and signature image in ShipWorks for some countries.
FedEx - Active Service Disruptions: Middle East Service Update

Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide, affected shipments are not eligible for a refund or credit under the Money-Back Guarantee policy.
Russia and Belarus Service Suspension
All Russian and Belarusian FedEx International services continue to be suspended until further notice.

Select FedEx from the menu on the left of the Shipping Settings screen. Then, click the Setup button.

Enter your FedEx account number on the Set up FedEx Shipping screen,. Then, click Next.

Accept the FedEx License Agreement then click Next. If you wish to print the agreement, click on the Print Agreement button.

Enter the address and contact information associated with your FedEx account. Then, click Next.

(Optional) Enter any additional Ship From addresses on the Origin Address screen. Then, click the Next buton.
This screen allows you to enter multiple origin addresses when shipping from multiple Ship From locations. The addresses can then be selected when configuring FedEx shipments in ShipWorks.

(Optional) Click on the blue link for Defaults - FedEx. Then, enter the value(s) for your default setting(s) on the Settings, Packages, and Customs tabs. Click OK. Then, click Next.
The Shipment Defaults screen gives you the option to configure the most commonly used settings when shipping with FedEx (weight, dimensions, etc). These default settings are automatically applied to newly created FedEx shipments.
Additional Defaults and shipping rules are outside of the scope of this article. However, if you would like to learn more about shipping rules you can do so here.

Use the Printing Setup screen to specify whether or not ShipWorks should automatically print your shipping labels after processing and to configure how ShipWorks handles printing your shipping labels. Then, click the Next button.
Automatic Printing

Automatically print standard labels after processing is checked by default so that your shipping labels will automatically print to your label printer.

Check the Automatically print return labels after processing if you wish for return labels to automatically be generated and printed for your FedEx shipments. This is useful when you wish to include a return label in the package sent to your customer.

(Optional) Use the Processing Setup screen to add and configure an email address in ShipWorks, set automatic email notifications, and to tell ShipWorks to what status the order should be set when processing or voiding a label. Then, click the Next button.
We recommend leaving the Local Status settings as Shipped and Voided.

Click the Finish button to return to the FedEx Shipping Settings Screen.
Your FedEx account is now successfully added to ShipWorks. Next, lets look at additional setting available to you when shipping with FedEx.
Now that you have your FedEx account configured in ShipWorks, there are a few more configuration options that you may wish to know about. We will cover some of those here.

You can get back to your FedEx configuration any time by clicking on the Manage tab, then the Shipping Settings button and then select FedEx.

Click the Add button in the FedEx Accounts section of the Settings tab to add additional FedEx accounts to ShipWorks.

Configure FIMS services. Check the Use FIMS services checkbox and enter your FIMS username and password.

Control which services and package types are available to you when shipping a package with FedEx. In the Available Services and the Available Package Types section, uncheck any options you wish to not have available to you when shipping.
