ACCESS TO THE HUB

This article assumes that you are on a ShipWorks plan that offers access to The Hub. If you are on a legacy plan that does not offer access to The Hub or if you are unsure, please add your carrier accounts directly in the ShipWorks software.

LATEST VERSION OF SHIPWORKS

We recommend that you run the latest version of the ShipWorks software. This allows you to access the latest tools and features and ensures the steps in this article will work for you. For assistance with checking your version of ShipWorks or with upgrading to the latest version, please see the How Do I Upgrade ShipWorks help article.

THINGS TO KNOW

Shipping to the Republic of Ireland: As of July 2, 2023, the inclusion of the correct Eircode (Postal Code) for shipments entering the Republic of Ireland (ROI) is mandatory on all DHL Express shipments. Learn more about and look up Eircodes on the Eircode website.

Go to The Hub and Log In

  1. Open a web browser and go to hub.shipworks.com.

  2. Log in using your ShipWorks account email and password. (This is the same email address and password that you created when setting up your ShipWorks account.)

Add Your Express1 Account

  1. Click Settings.

    Click Settings in the left hand side bar

  2. Click the Connect a Carrier button.

  3. Click Express1 to launch the setup wizard.

  4. Select whether you are adding an Express1 USPS (Stamps.com) or an Express1 Endicia account. Then, click Next.

  5. Complete or select the required information. Then, click the Next button.

    • Express1 Account Number and Password - If you are unsure of your account number or password, please reach out to Express1 at 1-800-399-3971 to retrieve your account information.

    • Address - The address associated with your Express1 account.

    • Requested Label Format - Select the label format supported by the printer to which your shipping labels will be printed.

      What Label Format should I select?

      If you are uncertain of what label format you should select here is a little information to help you:

      • Standard - Select this option if you will be printing shipping labels to a laser or inkjet printer.

      • Thermal-EPL - If you have an older thermal printer, such as a Zebra 2844, select this option.

      • Thermal-ZPL - Select this option if you have a newer thermal label printer. Almost all thermal label printers produced in the last several years support this option.

  6. Your current account balance will be displayed and you will be presented with the option to add postage to your Express1 account by clicking on the Buy Postage... button. Click Finish.

Your Express1 account will be displayed in the Carriers section of the Settings screen.

Verify Your Carrier Settings and Shipping Workflow

After adding your carrier account in The Hub, please log into the ShipWorks software and verify your carrier settings are configured for your specific shipping workflow.
