Load and Clear an Order
After switching to Scan-to-Ship, you will land on the Scan tab when switching to Scan-to-Ship so that you can begin the Scan-based Quality Control process. For more information on how Scan-based Quality Control works, please see the Scan-based Quality Control user guide.
This article will guide you through how to load and clear an order when working in Scan-to-Ship.
Note
Please Note that Scan-to-Ship view was labeled as Order Lookup Mode prior to version 7.3. If you are on an earlier version of the ShipWorks software you will you will see Scan-to Ship listed as Order Lookup in the Software.
Loading an order is easy. Here’s how:
Click in the Order Number field and type in the order number that you wish to process.

Click the search button
or press Enter on your keyboard.
If there is more than one order with the same order number in ShipWorks, select the order that you would like to load and click the Select button.
When an order is loaded onto the Ship tab, the following panels will display:

It is also possible to load an order by scanning a barcode of the order number when you have Scan-to-Ship enabled. Configuring Scan-to-Ship is outside of the scope of this article, but we do have a help article to walk you through searching for orders using a barcode scanner.
ShipWorks will honor the selected order when switching between the Home tab and the Scan-to Ship. For example: If order number 300 is loaded in Scan-to-Ship and then the Home tab is selected, order number 300 will be displayed and selected on the Home tab.

You can also clear an order by clicking on the Clear link located just to the right of the Order Number field. Clicking the Clear button clears the order and all of the panels will be removed from the Ship tab.
