Get the Most from Your Support Portal Account
Logging in to your support portal account gives you the ability to monitor the status of your support requests and much more.
This article will guide you through getting the most out of your support portal account.
When you submit a ShipWorks support request while logged in to your support portal account, you have access to the status of all of your support requests. You can view your submissions, view any responses from our support team, and respond to ShipWorks support right from within your support portal account. Here's how.
1. After logging in to your support portal account, click on the account drop-down menu located at the top-right of the screen and select My Activities.
2. You will be taken to the My requests page where you will see a list of all of your support requests. You are able to see:
The title of your request.
The request ID number.
When the request was submitted.
When the last activity was.
The status of your request.
3. Click on the Subject of any request to open it.
4. With the request open, on the left side of the screen you can view your original request, any responses from ShipWorks support as well as the ability to respond to ShipWorks support and even mark your support request as solved.
The right side of the screen gives you stats regarding the request.
As a registered support portal user, you have the ability to post to and to comment on posts in the ShipWorks forum. You can also comment on help articles. You can manage your contributions from within your account.
1. After logging in to your support portal account, click on the account drop-down menu located at the top-right of the screen and select My Activities.
2. Click on Contributions.
3. From the Contributions page you can select to view your forum posts, your forum comments or to view comments you left in ShipWorks help articles.
4. You can open any of your Posts, Comments or Article Comments by clicking on the Subject.
5. Once the Post, Comment or Article Comment is open you have the ability to respond, edit or delete it. To edit or delete it, click on the gear icon located to the right of your post or comment.
You have the ability to follow ShipWorks articles and forum topics by clicking on the Follow button located on article and forum pages. (You can unfollow any time by clicking the button again to unfollow.)
To view and manage articles and posts you are following:
1. After logging in to your support portal account, click on the account drop-down menu located at the top-right of the screen and select My Activities.
2. Click on Following.
3. You will see a list of all of the posts and articles you are currently following. To open any article or post, click on the Subject.
4. If you wish to unfollow any post or article listed on the Following page, click the Unfollow button to the right of the article or post.
You can view your account profile any time by clicking on the account drop-down menu and select My Profile.
The My Profile page gives you stats about your account such as how many activities you have performed, lists of your activities, posts and comments how long you have been a member and more.
