Linking a ShipWorks Warehouse
After you have the warehouses configured in the ShipWorks Hub, the next step is to link a warehouse in the ShipWorks for each warehouse location. This ties the ShipWorks software to a specific warehouse in the ShipWorks Hub for order routing.
Linking a warehouse is database-specific.
When you link a database in the ShipWorks software, all ShipWorks clients connected to the same database are automatically linked to the selected warehouse.
You cannot undo the warehouse selection!
Be 100% sure that the correct warehouse is being linked for the location you are configuring.
1. In the ShipWorks software, click on the Application Menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Warehouse.
4. Click on the Select Warehouse button in the Warehouse Selection section.
5. Select the correct warehouse from the list of available warehouses.
6. Click the Link button.
With the warehouses configured in The ShipWorks Hub and with a warehouse selected within the ShipWorks software for each warehouse location, orders will begin to be routed according to your specific configuration.
You have the option to configure ShipWorks to route orders by product SKU. Let’s take a look at how this is configured.
