One Balance Accounts in the ShipWorks Software
After creating a One Balance account or adding a One Balance: UPS and/or One Balance: DHL Express account in The Hub, the accounts need to be synced with the ShipWorks client software so that labels can be created using the new One Balance accounts.
You may also wish to set One Balance: UPS and/or One Balance: DHL Express as your default accounts so that you do not have to select the account when creating shipments.

Check your version of the ShipWorks software by:

In ShipWorks, click on the Help tab and then on About ShipWorks.

Verify the Version: is 8.3.1 or later.
Need to upgrade to the latest version?

In The Hub, click on Settings then on the Download ShipWorks button.

Follow the steps for your web browser to launch the downloaded installer file.

Follow the setup wizard to update to the latest version of ShipWorks.

Be sure to update all of your ShipWorks workstations.
To sync your One Balance accounts with ShipWorks, please log out of and back into the ShipWorks software. This only needs to be done after setting up your One Balance account for the first time.

Click on the Application menu and select Log Off.

Click on the Application menu again and select Log On.

Log in to ShipWorks by selecting the correct ShipWorks user and entering your password. Then, click Log On.

Verify that your One Balance accounts synced:

Click on the Manage tab and then on the Shipping Settings button.

Select One Balance from the list of shipping providers.

Verify that the One Balance account(s) have been added. (Only the One Balance Carrier Accounts you added in The Hub will be enabled. For example: If you did not add One Balance: UPS, it will still be grayed out.)

You may wish to set your One Balance: Stamps.com, One Balance: UPS and/or One Balance: DHL Express account(s) as your default carrier account(s) so that you do not have to select them each time you create a shipment.
Multiple Stamps.com, UPS, or DHL Express Accounts?
The steps in this section address having more than one UPS, Stamps.com and/or DHL Express accounts added to ShipWorks. For example, you may have added your current UPS account to ShipWorks in addition to your One Balance: UPS account or maybe you have more than one Stamps.com account added to ShipWorks.
If you would like to set your One Balance account as the default shipping account for the shipping carrier(s) you use, then follow the steps in this section.
In this example, we will be setting our One Balance: UPS account as the default UPS carrier account. However, the steps can be applied to Stamps.com and DHL Express as well.

When configuring DHL Express, set the DHL Express from ShipWorks as the default account.

When configuring UPS, set UPS from ShipWorks as the default account.

When configuring USPS, set the Stamps.com account associated to One Balance as the default account.
2. Select UPS from the list of available carriers.
3. Click on the blue text Defaults - UPS located in the Labels section of the Settings tab.
4. Select UPS from ShipWorks from the Account: drop-down menu located on the Settings: tab.
5. Click OK and then click Close.
Now, when you create a shipping label using UPS as your shipping provider, your UPS from ShipWorks account will be selected by default.

You may wish to verify that your shipping defaults for your One Balance accounts are configured for your shipping workflow. This will save you time and reduce costly shipping mistakes when shipping.
