Products and Inventory in The ShipWorks Hub
ShipWorks’ Product Catalog allows you to import and manage your product information right within the ShipWorks software. With your product information stored in ShipWorks it becomes much easier to manage products when selling across multiple sales channels, weights and dimensions can be auto populated when shipping and, when shipping internationally customs information can be populated automatically.
The product catalog allows you to easily import your products from a file, enter your products manually, export your product catalog to a file, create bundled products, add product variants, and more.
ShipWorks' inventory management solution is for those users who wish to:
-
Track and manage inventory levels.
Products in The ShipWorks Hub gives you the ability to set up initial stock levels with a CSV import. Then, ShipWorks will autmatically allocate inventory as new orders come in and deduct inventory as you ship out your orders. Update inventory levels with a few mouse clicks or in bulk by importing new stock levels from a CSV file.
-
Route orders dynamically based upon which ship from locations (Warehouses) have ordered items in stock.
Tell ShipWorks that you would like for orders to be automatically routed to the warehouse that stocks all of the items on an order. You can even have ShipWorks dynamically route orders to the most logical ship from warehouse when more than one warehouse has the products in stock.
To get started with using ShipWorks' product catalog and inventory management there are few steps you'll need to accomplish and our easy to follow guides will walk you through them:
-
Set up your ship from Warehouses and inventory bin locations.
-
Add your product catalog and input your initial stock levels.
-
Enter them manually or
-
Import a CSV file containing your entire product catalog and stock levels.
