What are the system requirements for running ShipWorks?
ShipWorks is a scalable solution, so we don't have a "one-size-fits-all" systems requirement recommendation. We've come up with different requirements for you, based on the projected volume of your business.
Below are the minimum requirements that should be met in order to install ShipWorks. However, we suggest that you meet the requirements for the size of your business based upon the below information.
CPU: Intel® i3/i5/i7 or AMD AM3+/FM2+ processor with 2 or more cores running at 2.5 GHZ or greater
OS: Windows 10.
RAM: 4 GB of RAM (8 GB or more recommended)
HDD Space: 20 GB or more of available hard-disk space
Internet Connection: High speed Internet connection (2 MB or greater)
Printer: Standard Printer, Thermal (recommended)
Businesses that use a single computer, 1-2 online marketplaces, 1-2 shipping providers, up to 20 filters, approximately 50K maximum orders in the ShipWorks database.
CPU Type: Intel i3/i5/i7, AMD AM3+/FM2+
CPU Cores: 2+
CPU Speed: 2.5 GHz
RAM: 4GB (8GB or more recommended)
HDD: 1 Drive, but a secondary drive preferred
HDD Space: 20GB
Internet Connection: High speed, 2MB
Network Connectivity: N/A
OS: Windows 10
Printer: Standard Printer, Thermal (Recommended)
Businesses that use multiple ShipWorks workstations, advanced ShipWorks configuration, up to 60 filters, 2-5 stores, multiple shipping providers, up to 100K maximum orders in the ShipWorks database.

HDD: 2 SSD drives, secondary drive for database only

Advanced integration using ShipWorks API, 10+ computers (running ShipWorks), up to 150 filters, advanced custom templates and reporting, VPN connectivity, 500K or more orders in the ShipWorks database.
CPU Type: Intel Core i7/i9, Xeon Family, AMD AM3+/FM2+/Phenom II
CPU Cores: 8+
CPU Speed: 3 GHz
RAM: 32+GB
HDD: SSD, 1 drive for SQL Server + 1 Drive per ShipWorks database.
HDD: Standard hard disk or SSD for database backups
HDD Space: 100+GB
Internet Connection: High speed, 10MB - 40+ MB (for off-site or VPN)
Network Connectivity: 10/100/1000, Wireless N+
OS: Windows Server 2012 R2
SQL Server Version: SQL Server 2017 Standard
Printer: Standard Printer, Thermal (both required).
Windows 7
1. In Windows, go to the Start menu.
2. Right-click Computer Properties.
3. Under the System section, your processor and RAM information displays.
Windows 8
1. Get to the Start screen, by clicking the Windows button on your keyboard.
2. On the Start screen, type the word Computer to prompt the Computer icon to display.
3. Right-click the Computer icon, and select Properties (bottom of the screen).
4. Under the System section, your processor and RAM information displays.
Windows 10
1. Click on the Windows Start button.
2. Click on Settings
3. On the Settings screen, click on the System button.
4. Then, in the left column of the System screen, select About to display your Operating System, RAM, and Processor information.
