eBay: Member-to-Member Contact Policy
Communication between eBay members is a key part of the eBay buying and selling experience. In an effort to keep everyone in the eBay community safe, eBay has guidelines and policies that cover how members communicate.
For example, the eBay Member-to-Member Contact Policy does not allow its' members to:

Make offers to buy and sell outside of eBay

Send spam
-
Threaten others, or use profanity or hate speech

Exchange any personal information (except names), including email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information

Send viruses, malicious code, or software through our messaging service
How does eBay's Member-to-Member Policy affect using ShipWorks?
ShipWorks' robust feature set gives you the ability to send email communications directly to your eBay customers from within the ShipWorks software. The eBay Member-to-Member Contact Policy has specific requirements regarding this type of communication. Review any ShipWorks templates emailed to your eBay customers to ensure that you adhere to the eBay policy.
Check to ensure that none of the following are included in your template(s):

Offers to buy or sell items outside of eBay

Message that include email addresses, phone numbers, or social media links, contact information or usernames

Email addresses and/or website addresses impersonating eBay
-
Any direct links to email addresses in an eBay listing or store pages (Instead use the eBay "Ask a Question" feature.)
How can I review my ShipWorks template(s)?
Preview templates in ShipWorks by:

Select any eBay order in ShipWorks.

Click the Output tab and then the Preview button.

Select the template you wish to preview from the list of available templates.
