Manage One Balance in The Hub
This group of One Balance articles addresses working with One Balance within the ShipWorks client software. If your ShipWorks account includes access to The Hub and/or you are looking for information on how to add and manage One Balance within The Hub, please see One Balance in The Hub.
One Balance gives you one payment method that buys labels from multiple carriers. Instead of maintaining several separate accounts, use a single One Balance account.
Just as one wallet keeps multiple credit cards ready, One Balance works like a single postage account in ShipWorks for you to create labels. In addition, enjoy discounted rates for services with preferred shipping carriers. With One Balance, you add the provider(s) you want, set up the billing method you wish to use, and purchase your labels.
With One Balance:
Enjoy Discounted Rates: All carriers available with One Balance include access to pre-negotiated discounted rates.
Effective April 11, 2021, customers will enjoy discounts of up to 55% off UPS Ground shipments, up to 69% for UPS 2nd Day Air service, and up to 86% off International services on eligible packages.
Access cubic pricing for USPS shipments.
Provides discounts of up to 72% off DHL Express retail postage costs.
Prepaid postage: All shipments created using One Balance are prepaid and use a shared pool of funds.
Funds for One Balance are managed in your Stamps.com account. With your Stamps.com account in ShipWorks, there's nothing else you need to do to set up billing for One Balance.
Note: Stamps.com will not appear under One Balance unless another One Balance provider has been added to the account.
